What does your work attire consist of? Im a big fan of Carharrt. I also have schmidt clothing as well...

do you wear jeans or shorts? shoes or boots?

just curious...

I am a big guy who competes in strongman and is into other strength athletics, and i have found both these companies have things that fit me well.

Usually columbia pants and their fishing shirts ( the ones that are split in the middle but overlap so you can't see) when only mowing and not trimming I will wear kacky shorts.

How do you feel about cut off shirts ( meaning no sleaves ) I find these very very unprofesional. I try to keep any helpers dressed nice too. No beer or smoke shirts. And no pants hanging off your butt.

This is my career even if this is only their part time job. Image goes along way

I like hiking boots with nylon mesh pannels. Because my feet get so hot. Danner is good, so are Merrill. I get the gore-tex lining so they're water proof.
Cargo shorts & shirts. Bimini Bay from Wal-Mart is good if you can find the nylon ones.
It's what I wear all the time, working or not. That and Coppertone sport spray sun block.

Gym shorts

retired FD t shirts ( turned inside out so Im not mowing grass as a fireman)

and the most important thing of all:

Football cleats !!! This is the most important part of my work attire.. You never have to worry about your feet slipping out from underneath you while walking up or down slick ( wet ) sloaps. I replace them every two years. The high top sharks from nike are the best.

try them, you will never wear anything else.

I bought several matching polo shirts from Dollar General - look just as good as the ones they sell on the web for around 23 dollars apiece, paid $6 apiece for them. $5 a pop to have my embroidery done and they look pro. For pants I have 5.11 tacticals, the nylon ones. You can find them on EBay for around $20 and they are very comfortable and are reinforced in the knees and seat, similar to BDU's. Gotta wear a WVU hat - its good luck

Sorry. I meant to say a Yankees fitted hat, meaning a New York Yankees baseball cap. I am retiring it though, as I got a Columbia hat that does a much better job keeping the sun off of me.
