Switching form Maint. to construction

For those of you that have made that switch in the past.....what did you do to advertise your new nitch(construction)? Yellow pages seems a good way, but was wondering about local flyers, or postcards with pictures in them in target mailings. I just cut my maint. back to about 90 from 140......I want the extra time to focus on hardscapes. Ive been trying to think of unique and different ways to sell to new customers, landscapers around here are a dime a dozen.

You would get a lot better response from an 1/8th or 1/4 page ad in the local paper. And a lot cheaper than the yellow pages.

People will only find you in the yellow pages IF they are already looking for a landscaper.
But if they run across a nice looking as in the paper, it may put the idea of a little landscaping in their head.
