Sounds similar to AZ. Contractors license with Irrigation endorsement?

Are we looking for a new job, or just curious?

Looks like a gov. run course to me. Maybe you should ask them what it means, if you can get through all the bureaucracy.

Hmmm, he knows something but isn't telling. Yes, I read it in a job posting. No, I'm not looking (well, not seriously anyway. The day I don't consider the possibility that something might be better, figure I'm dead). I've been here (NM) almost a year and irrigation licensing is something I haven't heard of at all. And yes, it was a government listing, but a basic internet search returned nada about a NM J-9

I would think JS-journeyman sprinkler is for fire sprinklers.
There is a Mechanical Specialties-MS-6 for lawn sprinklers.

So there is some licensing here in NM? I haven't done anything except the golf course since I got here, but I've thought about doing some side work. Nobody "does" irrigation. Everything I've seen (including some of the GC) is cobbled and thrown together, with the possible exception of some city and commercial sites.
