mini skid multi-purpose tool....useful?

Can anyone give me input on how useful the multi-purpose tool has been for you? I used one brieful to uproot a couple trees, and it was suprisingly useful. I did not find it a great soil ripping tool due to traction issues, and on clay I think it would be a joke. Do you use the tree boom? How fast is it, I would think forks would be better. Can you tell me anything else about your experiences?
