Application rate help

I am looking at buying an electric spreader that will mount on the front of a zero turn. Looking at a unit such as the spyker 120 or the jrco unit. This may sound uniformed but how can I regulate the application rate when mower speed with inevitably vary?

I am coming from using push spreaders.

Put a speedometer on the wheel of the spreading vehicle. Calc-an acre is a good name to google, I think shoup catalog sells them.:cool2:
