Hi,
I have a Tanaka string trimmer #TBC-230. It takes .095 dia. line. My question is what brand line is best for use when "edging" a lawn? I need to purchase more and don't know which is most durable.
Thanks, DALE

Funny you asked, I just used my TBC-230 to edge my sidewalks last night. I really like the square magnum gator line. It lasts the longest out of most I have used and cuts great as well. Hope that helps.

To edge a lawn I use an edger with a steel blade.

Ditto. The edges always come out uniformly and perfect. Sure, getting another machine out takes more time, but it's about consistant quality for me, and at least I can't get that with a line trimmer.
