I am searching for a new mower and recently looked at kubotas. They looked like extremely well built machines, loaded with features. I was just wondering what kind of experiences everyone has had?

While I have only had my Kubota for a few weeks, I can assure you that they are really well built machines. I have a ZG227 and they are the same thing as the diesels without the diesel motor. The cut on my machine is exeptional.

Kubota's are great machines. But take a look at a Hustler, best built and best warranty in the business!

My buddy in Joplin bought a diesel kubota ZTR two years ago. It was a leftover and he got it for 10K+. His dad bought one also. He loves it except the deck engagement level has some big problem that they cant seem to fix. Its like the arm isn't strong enough and it bent..they just bent it back the first time but it just bent again. Dont know if his dads is doing it also but sounds like some crazy malfunction for such a high end machine. They are going to replace the part next but its on backorder (which is suspicious by itself).
I dont know his model number but I do know its a diesel and it loved it otherwise.

Anyone else know of this issue?

Does anyone else have a kubota?

Are you talking about the PTO engagement lever to the driveshaft on the control panel? Not sure I follow you. Also being a couple years old, is it a older ZD21/ZD28? Or is it the new 300 series? Might be able to help after i clear up a few things.

Yes the PTO lever and I think its the old model and thats how they got them so cheap...Now that i think about it...I think he just picked them up less than a year ago though. I'll have to ask him exactly the model year and model but I do know it is the diesel and he got them for mid 10K or so (seems really cheap for a diesel)

I just bought a new ZG327 60" cut, 3 weeks ago. It is an awsome machine. The cut is great. It is the new 27 HP Kubota gas engine. Same frame as the diesels. Extremely well built and rides like a dream. I've used another brand for 10 years and loved it, but the Kubota is much nicer to use.

have three 326 models and love them, recently had two engine leaks back to badk on dif machines under warranty. i guess it was a flaw fromt he factroy, but good as new now. they are very tough machines and cant go wrong
