Walker 52 inch decks

I was wondering what deck is better a 52inch side discharge (belt drive) or a 52 inch side discharge (gear drive) deck for a walker?

The repairs on the gear drive will be more costly mine went at 2000 hours $200 to repair I did it my self :waving:

The gear drive (timed) discharge deck is a 54", but anyway, I've always heard that the belt driven 52" is the better one, but I've never used the other to know. The 52" you can add a full mulching kit and double blades too, can't mulch with the 54" timed deck.

If you weren't so far away I'd sell you my 52" SD deck. I bought it with the intent to discharge more, but it's just hanging out in the shed all the time. Too much of a PITA to swap decks all the time.
