View Full Version : What Trailer Do I Need?

Alright, so as of right now, i need a trailer that my Craftsman rider mower can pull. I don't need it to be huge, but it's gotta be able to fit my Toro walk-behind mower and a weedwacker on it, and maybe one or two gas containers. Any suggestions?

This is the exact one I use. You add plywood floor and wood sides. Perfect for my needs as of now. About $300 for all supplies needed.

how much money are you looking to spend? i used a garden cart that i transformed into a trailer, then a john deere cart, then a 4x6 trailer, and now im at a 5x8 trailer...but i tow it with my golf cart...my john deere la135 towed the 4x6 trailer fine when i was lifting my cart..

Thanks for the replies. I'm thinking about starting out with a 10 ft. PreciseFit dump cart that i've found at Lowe's for $110. I definitely think that after a few lawns, it'll pay for itself.
I think that's enough space for my push mower, but i can't invest in anything bigger until i know i have a steady income, well, at least a bigger one, from my business.

thats perfect for what you need..i have a jd dump cart that fits my 21" mower, i made custom trimmer racks for $20, holds my gas cans, a trash can, and my blower and hand tools.
it comes in handy for mud, soil, mulch, grass clippings, etc.

I'd like some detail on how you made racks for your weed wackers for only around 20 dollars. Can you gimme some elaboration?
