Ouch! Now I don't feel so bad after doing this:

500 hrs on my Z and I still managed to stripe a couple this spring.

how do u stripe with a z like that to close or to far?

The only think I can think it would be is deflector shield down maybe?????

I was wondering how I did it myself. Two likely causes are excessive prill roll due to the immature lawns or an improper comb setting. I was using granular with Dimension and with the comb at the normal setting the impeller threw a bit more fert to the right. Below is a link to a thread I started about it searching for possible answers.

That's why I am here. I do know this:

The striping only occurred on immature lawns and only when dropping the granular with Dimension. My spacing and calibration was the same as I have done 100's of times with overlap just touching my tire tracks.
