Everything looks good man. Im looking to get the same mower , let me know how you like it. also trailer looks good. any pic's of the truck?
TXNSLighting
06-23-2009, 12:34 AM
Yes! The ramp, cage, and trimmer racks woulda cost me a little over 900 for all new stuff. We have about $250 in materials and just a couple days labor in it. Saved a crap load doin it ourselves, and i could fully customize everything that way.

I sold the lawn biz last june cuz i was real burned out on everything. So i decided to take some time away from it, and that would let me know how i really felt about the biz. Ive wanted to come back since January and felt now was the time for some reason...A little late in the year. But i can make it work. Im one of those determined people.

That blower cage would have been much more convenient if it was a tad lower and door hinge from the bottom and not the top. These cages are usually just high enough to squeeze the front of mower under it.

I thought about doing the hinge on the bottom but i wouldnt like it. I tried one like that and wasnt a fan. And it is the perfect height for me. Im 6'2 is why its ok for me.

I stepped up to the 265 series about a year ago and have no regrets. I was previously running the 210 models. It looks like you have the 620 blower sitting in your cage if I'm not mistaken? I had a 755 but just recently went back to using my 620 because it's a hell of a lot more comfortable.

i second that!!!! i like my 265 t echo trimmers and about the blowers, yes i argue this all the time with my friend the 620 may have slightly less power but the weight difference and convience of the throottle on the blower tube is legit! i hate 755's. i can get more blowing done faster with my 620

That is a little more difficult than anything in the green field. You first got to figure out if you have the eye for it. Then you would need to take some classes from some manufacturers. Your local Irrigation chains will know where they are. Or you can just call the manu's direct. Kichler, cast, and Unique all have good ones. I dont like vistas. Or you can do what i did and work for a landscape lighting company.
Its definitely a good business to be in. I definitely think its a better investment then school!
