while ford and chevy put theirs on the backburner it seems mahindra will continue on with theirs. i guess they will have the market to themselves for a while till someone else comes up with a 4 cylinder diesel pick up. i was looking forward to the mini duramax in the half ton.

Unfortunate that government motors is not going To produce This- I too was looking forward to this engine/ truck.

I guess the boobs at GM will be scratching their heads when Mahindra is rolling in the $$$$

yep that 1500 duramax would have been a perfect cash for clunkers upgrade! now i guess i my money is going outside the us

I like it, for personal & light business use. I hope the don't fall prey to Detroit & Japan's latest blunders and try to make it so much "bigger" for the US market. I also hope they keep it diesel only. It's what made the Sprinter so unique - and even though today they offer a Gas M-B V6 as well, I'l ever only seen them with CRD V6 engines.
