Terrible, nothing to joke about. I'm always seeing stuff laying in the road, 6 foot aluminum ladder, semi tire treads, sheets of plywood. It's always stuff I'd want to grab but I'm not stopping of the freeway to get it.
One time one of those big plastic freeway safety things got knocked over and was in the road but I didn't have time to get out of the way so I just hit it and it went flying into the ditch.

If it was a ride-on, it would have a brake.

Imagine a 10 speed bike going flying overtop of your truck on the intersate while doing 60 MPH?
Happened to us in Miami when we lived there, going down I-95 and some guys straps came loose and the bike starts bouncing and before we could react it was (and you could hear it) going overtop of the truck and never made a scratch.
Yea, just got lucky.
