First of all I do not do seal coating. I am trying to help out my grandfather. He lives in a very rural area. His drive is approx 3500 sq ft. No one locally does seal coating. Closest guy is 2 hrs away His quote was $1300. because of drive time. that contractor suggested to him to go to lowes and buy 10 5 gallon buckets of drive way sealer and put it on.
what do the pros think of this. thanks guys

don't go buy that latex crap....go to a hardware store and ask them if they have Gilsonite. Professional petro based sealer. Not latex crap. Latex is BAD for your drive. It doesn't let it breathe, it just sits on top of the drive!
