Well, we get all kinds of free stuff, please post what you have gotten over the years, pics are nice too.

Crapsman Rider, it s a 42" cut, it has a flat tire, and we need to install a silonoid.
Toro 22" cut, self propelled, needed fresh gas and only THREE pulls.
Lawn King Edger, it needed fresh gas, and some starting fluid.
Murray 22" cut, haven't messed with it yet.
Some old gas rotary mower.
A couple decent benches.
HD Salt spreader.
Poech Swing.
Go Kart.

Note, the Craftsman, Murray, and Toro were fro the same person.

We also had one of our Sthil weed wackers in the shop for a new carb, and they ordered it. So we come in to get some blades a month later and asked about it, and they forgot about it (we called too). So they put the new carb on right there, and didn't charge us for the part or labor. Best part, they filled the tank! lol

We have had so much stuff given to us its crazy.

One time someone put a brand new stick edger (echo _ small one ) on the truck overnight at the storage unit, I don't know if they moved and didn't need it any more or what. Ran great

I have had several homeowner push mowers and trimmers.

We have been given freezers and refridgerators.

One time a lady was changing the furniture in her upstairs bonus room. My helper took home a sectional leather sofa, lazyboy and a 36" tv. ( The lady was getting a plasma/lcd)

We have had so many outdoor furnitures sets given to us we just haul them to the dump (goodwill will only take them at certain drop spots)

I was given a trailer ( just for scrap though too rough for anything )

Playsets _ mostly the cheap ones - I had a lady pay me $150 to remove her nice playset (cedar) I sold it to another client for $250 delivered - 2 neighborhoods over

I got 2 Craftsman 22" mowers from a customer I did some work for. One has a Briggs Gold series 5.5hp and the other had a Tecumseh 6.75hp. I got the Briggs to run, but it's nowhere near powerful or reliable. It cuts kind of nice though and is front wheel drive--would rather it be rear, but it was free. I hardly use a 21" mower anymore and already have a Lawn-Boy, so this one just sits in the back of the shop.

The Tecumseh wouldn't run. I even pulled the cylinder head off and tried to clean up the piston and valves a little bit. Looked like a piece of toast that stayed in the toaster for 30 minutes. I ended up giving it away to a lady who needed some parts for her mower and she gave me a discount on some really nice business cards--full color, high-gloss, front and back. Got 1,000 of them for about $80.

I got a 22" crapsman and a 21" MTD single stage snowblower last winter both needed a carb cleaning and work fine.

This season I got a Simplicity 4211H lawn tractor that needed a coit and a carb cleaning. I fixed it up, put some fresh blades on it and gave it to my little sis and bro-inlaw since they got a bigger place now.

Where are you keeping all this stuff!?!?!? For that matter how are your parents letting you drag all this stuff home. If I bring anything else lawn related home my garage is going to explode according to my mother. I don't know what her problem is there's plenty of room in there.

Today's tally according to what you have posted: six spreaders, six snow blowers, and an old reel mower. You are either the luckiest trash picker on lawn site or you live near a small engine repair shop.

But hey, once it snows you'll have your choice of snow blowers lol.

One spreader is for sale, one is going to my uncle soon. and I am keeping the earth way for salt, the scotts drop for seed, and the lesco for fert

I would keep one of the better snow blowers and once you have healed up use it to gain some extra money that you can put towards a truck and a good snow plow. That way you have no loss of income during the off season. Plus when you have to do your drive way you don't have to freeze to death running a snow blower.

Not to brag, but my mom dosent care... I also live in the country and we hace a 25x60 ft garage... There is a breez way in the middle... so "my" garage is
25x25 so space isnt an issue for me... my garage has my truck in it now, because it needs a new rear end...

One more thing, a few years back my sisters both got new cars, so they gave them to me... they worked, but we let them sit, and just sold them last summer. One was a 94 Pontiac Boniville, the other was a 90ish 88 Classic, and my brother in law also left his 80 something Thunderbird... Any who me and my buddies always went offroading in our field in the Boniville, and one time we got lots of wheat in the engine bay, and clogged up the radiator.... Lets say it was a good thing i had a fire extinguisher... LOL

i also just recieved a 15 gallon sprayer with about a 4 ft boom on a small pull behind trailer.
I am going to take the deck off the mower, the sprayer off the trailer and make the zero turn a spray rig. i will mount the sprayer on the mower with the boom in the front by the front wheels.

What, like grandmas... Not us, actualt when we were on 75, we did at least 85 almost the whole way.... And we did a top speed test, with the Garmin, we got up to 97.6, then saw a cop... So we dont drive like grannies, and when we go to detroit for shows, we go 120, but not in a truck... A Nissan Altima 3.5L Se, it Has the Sports package, leather, BOSE, moon roof, heated seats, (its our moms...)

Keep in mind we were in a 2009 Chevy Silverado 3500HD, its got the 6L Vortec, its a big truck, it had more in it, but we saw a cop... It will go 100MPH....

nice job in the chevy i got my little 4.3 S10 crew cab to do about 92 but havent gotten the chance to top it out. whenever we go to the east coast every summer we take my moms saab 9-3 Aero turbo or my dads Saturn 3.6 XR both are loaded and cruise nicely at 85. I love those cars the saab will go from 85 to 100 in a couple seconds so passing the grannies in ohio is no problem:waving: im just giving you a hard time, go U of M :weightlifter:

Thanks, the Altima drives ok at 120, it gets alittle loud tho... But like i said the truck WILL do 100MPH... and we could do better since it has that manualmatic shifter (its automatic tranny, but you can select "manual" and use the buttons) The performance is way better with that...

Whenever I go up north in the Isuzu NPR I am 55 in the far right lane.

oh yeah, free stuff. I picked up a $400 wood stove from a customer that wanted it off the patio. I told them I'd get rid of it for them. I turned it over in a day for $250! Matter of fact, I never took it off the trailer, just drove it to the guys house that wanted it. :D

I will finaly start a pic thread by the end of the month, I have too many requests, I am going to sell 4 and buy one that is brand new, I have 2 accounts that need a 21 to be used at one for the entire bvackyard(cant fit the 32 in the gate) the other for a tight section in the back that is too big for a trimmer but too small for the 32 or 48

Come on guys... I just got a poly tool box... Its for a Small truck, like a S-10.. But the guy had the keys too...

I was out mowing at a house, and the people across the street were having a yard sale. I saw the box, and went over and asked how much for it... The guy said, you know what, you can have it... I was like are you sure... He said yea, i got no use for it...

my dad used to share his shop with a guy who owned these container trucks and he wouldnt mind if we ever picked through them. some of the things we got were, a 3 piece lockable tool box that just need sanded and some paint, all kinds of tools, ladders and much more to list. most of the items came out of abandoned auto shops, and lots of construction sites. the tool box was probley the best piece we got. i can get some pic's if wanted.

couple months ago i got a 36" scag and 48" exmark. the scag had a kawi on it and it wasnt running when i got it, but i go it running and sold it. the exmark had a blown engine on it and i took the eingine off it, cleaned the body and sold it. i made quite a bit of money on these. i also got a 30" murray ride on mower which i sold and got some money, and some other stuff.

I've gotten a few push mowers, many from clients that no longer want them. I never thought to take any pictures, I found this mccullough weed wacker on the side of the road, when I was going to pick a mower up, brought it home, cleaned the carb and put it on craigslist.

several 21" push mowers, a mtd riding mower which i scrapped and kept the new engine which i put on a 36" scag. 2 snow throwers one was a 7.5 hp troy built only used on 2 snows the other an old craftsman that needed a berring and a belt

i hit the jackpot. a forclosed home friend. 5 hp little wonder, 11hp billy goat, 1000's of tools(he was a carpenter) echo 28cc trimmer, john deere pull cart, wheel barrel(two front wheels)15-shovels 5-rakes 10-axes and sledge hammers, the list goes on, power tools, drill, grinder, heat gun, soldering iron, jointer, paint gun and sprayer, angle grinder, 2- car buffers, a 70 gallon air IR air compressor 3 stage, Snap-on tool box

I sold all the lawn stuff. The only problem with the equipment was that it collected dust from the garage and mice made a nest in the billy goat 11hp engine intake and it smelled awful when i tried to start it up so i took it in, and they fixed it for free that had so much fun seeing this.
