Was wondering if anyone has ever done this?

Aside from looking like an idiot(most my friends home from college) I think I could distribute really fast.

not feasible in neighborhoods with house that have front steps... which is the majority out here.

well depends how many steps, but unless you have bad balance you just side step up.

I was thinking of roller blades instead of a sulky but I wouldn't deliver flyers myself when I can get them delivered for 4.2 cents each. $42 per 1,000.

yeah...where? I have a kid who does 500/day. He runs track so uses it as conditioning. I pay him as follows.
.10 for 1st 1,000
.11 for next 2,000
.12 for next 3,000
.13 for next 4,000
That ensures he doesn't bail at the end of a 10k piece campaign.
I suggested roller blades but he said he can't even roller skate.

WHAT??? To mail 1,000 fliers at .42 per piece thats 420.00, not 42.00

On bike I averaged around 100/hr this spring but only lasted 6 hrs or so. Great winter blubber weight loss plan though..

4.2 cents a piece at 1000 would be 42.00, and it's to deliver via canvassing not mail.

Yeah I usually do 10,000 for $420 bucks. I have the choice of adbags or inserts or both, staggered etc. They also do the printing for me (for extra money of course) and the city newspaper matches their price.
