glad you're ok.....But, generally speaking, those ROPS bars tend to work a little better when they are flipped up in place......

The stripe roller is solid aluminum drilled 1" hole in each end made bushing for 3/4" bolt to fit in . Then made bracket to mount on back of deck . Then made two sloted end peaces welded the 3/4" bolts on them they fit in the roller about 1". Works good I hav'nt tore it of yet.

Putting that fan on there is a pretty good idea. Does it work good or wat?

nomad

The fan works great I had to add the cross brace to mount the fan on.

Glad you're okay. I'd be afraid to get back on that machine for a few hours. I slid down into the woods today, not near at bad as your accident, but I was scared to get back on after lunch.

Wish I would have taken a picture of my little accident earlier this year. I had pulled a Bad Boy up in the back of truck so I could carry a few extra mowers. We got to the shop unloaded the trailer, and then I got the aluminum ramps out to back the mower off the truck. I have a 4x4 mega cab so it sits up pretty high off the ground. I got on the mower, started it up, and then said to my friend "I have a really bad feeling about this lets pull around to the back and back up to the ditch" he said "don't worry if you start to go over I will catch you".....Needless to say my dumb a%$ starts backing up. I mean right when the back wheels started going down the ramps the freaking front of the starts coming over....well my first reaction was to yank backwards on the drive arm to bring the front end down, but then I would have killed my great buddy that had his arms up trying to keep me from going over....Bear with me, this sucks to think back too.... so, I fall back first on the rock parking lot..big rocks too..., and then ...ouch... the mower then falls on me. I thought I died...I already have a bad back, and i thought I was atleast paralyzed for the rest of my life, but no, after about 30minutes of writhing around in the rocks begging everyone not to call the ambulance, pain subsided a little. We tend to learn new things everyday, so do not back a zero turn down ramps out of the back of your truck without first getting an incline...and don't listen to your buddies all the time, it just gets you hurt or in trouble.....lol

Holy Cow!

I'm no advocate for ROPS, but I do believe that bar saved you, and the mower from a LOT of damage. I really wouldn't think a zero turn would even hold a slope like that, one that's steep enough to let the mower tip over. Usually it's catching a hole with the lower wheel that will put you in that situation. (or a good bump with the upper wheel).
