I've posted this in a couple of different forums but it was suggested to post it here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I bought a TImecutter 4220 with a 21 Kohler about 4 months ago. Im cutting fescue in the St. Louis area. The problem I'm having is with clumping/piling.
I've tried everything I can think of and have called my dealer with no help from them.

I'm not cutting when its wet. From the beginning, same problems even with bone dry turf. Im not cutting too high. I can cut on the highest setting and cut again the next day with the same results. Ive checked every nut and bolt on it and cant find anything wrong.

The clumping will be in the row Im cutting but mostly when I slow to turn. It almost seems like its getting hung up in the deck somehow and wont discharge.

Ive cut in several different conditions. Yet I have to double cut with a raised deck and come in behind and blow it away. Its getting really frustrating and defeating the purpose of buying a new ZTR. Great machine but the extra work is getting old

Im not getting any help from my dealer or Toro. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check your blade geometry: Park on a flat surface, measure the blade height at front and back. Blades should be lower in front by 1/8-1/4". This can be achieved through deck adjustment or adjusting tire pressure. There might be other causes, but start here.

it sounds like your blades could be upside down......

You may of already done it but make sure your deck is clean/scraped and doesn't have a lot of build-up under it. Best of luck.
