dug up some large bushes and transplated them to property line to block the neighbors. new, smaller bushes are going in. keeping the 4 short round yews, the rest comes out

Good work, but man those beds need some help. I take it you dont maintain that property.

just bought the house in jan, new the bushes were coming out and too many other projects to worrry about those. once the house is painted, ill have it with the beds and new plantings. until then, what is green may grow

Strange project.... seems a hell of a lot easier just to plant some white pines or something than to attempt to transplant that crap. Nice house and tractor though.

white pines, $150 ea, a couple tall yews and rodi's that needed to be pulled anyways, free. white pines suck anyways, not enough lihgt, bottom branches thin out, then no privacy which was the original idea. then they get too big, make a mess, are weak, should i continue? i was going to do some hemlocks, but again they are expensive and they still have that disease and need to be sprayed. if these plants dont make it or im not happy ill swap them out dont the road

thanks, we're fortunate to able to afford it, ive worked my butt off, 2 full time jobs for years. not fun, its time to start slowing down a bit and enjoying
