Brown Patch? - next steps?

I overseeded my lawn with TTTF 4-5 wks ago. We have kept in on a good watering schedule and had great early results. A lot of seed germ. and seedlings got to be 1.5in + in height. Over the last week a lot of the good grown has wilted and died out. Is it brown patch? I had a soil test done and all the fert. levels of the soil checked out with what was recommended.

any thoughts?

Did you fertilize recently because the fert could have burned the seedling down. Did you use a pre-emergent recently?

You seeded the area 4 or 5 weeks ago? Thinks thats your problem, too late in the spring and now the hot weather (depending on where your located) is cooking the still young grass.

Rule of thumb, only plant grass in the months that have R's in them :drinkup:
