cell phone pics don't really do it justice. water was running down the road three or four houses away. i thought at first it was a broken head (or several)--nope. just a very zealous homeowner. i walked through the yard just b/c i couldn't believe it. and it was hard to even walk in. water was standing two or three inches deep in the beds.

now watch--he'll call me tonight and ask why i didn't mow today. :)

Guess there's no water conservation in SC huh? :) There is no need for that much water, I wouldn't have mowed it either.

I know it's been pretty dry here the last two weeks but come on.

Shout out to Mowerdud, up in Troy MI. I grew up thier and grad. in 1994 from Troy High. Hope you guys are finding enough work up thier. I know times are especially tough in MI.

My customers get mowed the same day every week. If the lawn is wet from watering, I mow it. If the grass clumps or it makes ruts, that's their reminder to not water on their mowing day. Noone has ever complained.

Try rereading the post knucklehead. It says "noone ever complains". I've lost no customers because of it. They apologize to me for it.

Same here....only I never leave clumps.

If it's wet cause it rained I will double mow to disperse. If they watered after I have asked them not to on mowing day, they get reminder clumps! :laugh:
