I need a pair of rear tires for my exmark "Z" they are 24x12x12's. I believe they are turf masters. Where's the cheapest to get 'em from?

Your local tire dealer.

Try mccord tire, Indiana, they sell a variety of turf style tires, they also shave down tires for specialty turf applications. They were cheaper than the local mower dealer (even with shipping), when I was buying tires for my old gravely. Some tire sizes are captive to the mfg of the equipment, though.:waving:

$220 a pair on ebay for Carlisle Multi Trac tires. Free shipping & no sales tax. Still seems expensive.

For that price, I'd check Gemplers.com, and see if they are close or less!:waving:

Local dealer sold me 2 rear tires for lazer z $200 on the rim and out the door. After 2.5 years of service it sucks to have to pony up the cash, but if you gotta get it done then you gotta get it done.

Always good to talk to talk with someone on the phone so yo get options...not very easy to do on Ebay, for example.

I had to replace a rear tire on my Scag 2 or 3 years ago. My local shop wanted $75-$100 for one. I found a pair on Ebay, shipped, for around $50. They weren't Carlisle, some Korean brand I think, but the price was right, and they're still going strong! The place was in Memphis I believe.

Try Cedar Rapids tire, and sign up to be a user or dealer. Thats what I did. Then you can buy them at dealer cost, and they are the biggest small tire dealer in the world.
