Well sort of rolled. Saw about 20 guys hacking up lawn after lawn today trying to catch up from the rain and get tomorrow off. We embraced the fact that we were going to have some work left regardless of the amount so we kept on doing a good job and whatever came of the day it was. Scag TT with striper kit.

Looks good. I like the first pic the best, stripes are "glowing".

Also looks like someone walked against the stripe in the 2nd pic.

Makes me want to go out and buy a stripe kit for my dixie. Did you use the factory striper or an aftermarket?

Looks great man. Quality over quantity any day IMO.

Wish we had rain. Lawns are starting to burn up, most stuff went on a 10-day schedule starting this week. Stripes are hard to get on an already brown lawn.

Factory as it came my dealer gave it to me for free. It works well, but the design is flawed. I had to reengineer some small things to keep it from falling apart.

Yes the first picture was much better in person. Actually at one point the sun came out and I had to look away cause it actually hurt my eyes. They are having a party tomorrow and was actually concerned that they might think it was too much. LOL

As for the second, sometimes, no matter how many times you try to explain it, hourly employees dont understand the stripe thing or the fact that they might mess it up. In the end the owner probably wont even notice and the neighbors are just glad they pay less.

I have been an exmark man for years. Prior to the velocity deck my last experience with scag was back in the late 90's. At the time the exmark was better cutting, but scag was tougher. IMO the velocity deck has surpassed the ultracut in overall functionality. The exmarks are idiot proof but cant keep up with the wet grass as well as the new scags. Dial in a velocity deck and it will blow through just about anything. To answer the question the first was cut at 4.75" and the second was 4.5".

Hey, do u also have the deck pitched forward, and if so how far? Also how do you have the striper set up, do you have it as low as it can go or do u have it set to the setting it should be for that high of grass?

Thanks
Ryan

And they'll probably have their kids roll down the hill during playtime, thus negating all of your hard work.
