Picked up my new Commercial Snapper Hi Vac w/ the kaw today. To wet though to get use out of it. rained almost all day today. Got to mow my lawn only. It did a great job for the grass being wet. Can't wait to get to use it more. Cost me a little under $900. Also threw in some pics of my 1 week old Stihl FS110R. Let me know what you think.

Sweet mower, I like my Toro but Snappers are good mowers also for a 21" deck, Post some pictures of your work when you can. You might want to ask permission if it is a customers home. Nice equipment.

you should of went with the honda engine instead, i my self have had horrible luck with the small kawi's engines on 21"s mowers. oh and ferris has the same mowers as well with a thicker deck then the snappers. i don't like toro's for a dumb reason cuz they cut great but don't like them because of their bag design its a horrible design in my opinion.

I have the exact same mower. I actually have 2 more just like it but not commercial. They are great mowers but I had problems with my commercial one slipping last season and parked it (No problems with the homeowner ones). Got it out Sunday and it didnt slip at all, left nice stripes on my bermuda (I normally cut it with a reel but I just needed to cut the seed heads). I also use it when I do small cleanups (Sticks, mulch and leaves). Other than that I use my 40" Toro T2.
If yours doesnt slip it will be a great mower, and for the money you cant beat em.

yea, and the money you saved by buying it instead of a new toro allowed you to buy a stihl

I have the same mower.
Are you using it to bag or mulch, and what blade combo are you running?
Overall, I am very happy with mine, as it is my only mower, however I have run into some really weird problems that my dealer has never seen before.

The snappers are great mowers. I used to have two with the honda's but sold them this spring because I needed a mower that could mulch also. I got the 21" Toro proline and so far it has been a great mower. Bags and mulches great. Mondragon, the bag isn't difficult to use once you figure it out, at first it was a p.i.t.a though.

I'm using it to bag. So far i haven't changed the blade. its still the OEM one which has been working fine. I did 11 lawns yest. with it and it performed great on all of them

We have two of those units and the starter rope device just doesn't work. Take the four bolts out that hold the starter rope mechanism to the top of the motor. Rotate it so the rope pulls straight out towards the back. Then take that little loop device off and move it up further on the handle(will have to drill hole). When removing the bag simply hook the rope back onto the wheel that is on the chute so it is out of the way.

I also rotated my starter rope cover in order to save wear and tear on the rope. I didn't drill any holes or move the loop device, but it works fine for me.

You can also shorten the rope and it also helps to loosen the screw on the recoil mechanism when you remove it to rotate it, just be careful because its reverse threads.
