looking to buy a 6x12 enclosed found a good deal 5 hours drive from me 6x12 v nose out the door for $2295 or they have a 6x12 flat nose for 1995 out the door question is i have a heating and air business and a landscape business so the trailer will pull double duty some times it will be pulled with my van and sometimes it will be pulled with my pickup does a v nose really cut through the air better than a flat nose thanks for your help ps trttrailersales in lincolonton nc. is who the trailer is coming from

I went from a 6x12 to an 8.5x24. You will out grow a 12 very fast. I hated the v nose (my 6x12) personally.

why did you hate the v nose as far as the size it will have either a heat pump or a walk behind in it don't really need anything bigger yet

I have a 6x12 haulmark v-nose and love it. The v will give you a tad better mileage and extra space in the inside. I would say it is worth the couple bills.

The V nose usually gets dented, when you accidentally turn too sharply. I think that a 6x12 enclosed trailer should cost more than $2k. Everything will be built very light duty at that price. Someone on this forum realized that he wasted his money when his low priced trailer, left a bad taste in his mouth because of poor durability. TRT Trailers is a fine company. Their prices are good. They have trailers from different builders and different quality levels. You get what you pay for. I bought a custom 20x8.5 from them several years ago.

I love my V nose trailer. I believe thats the only way my 1500 could tow the trailer down the highway at speeds.

The only V nose trailers that are prone to get dented are the ones with the real long nose (and thats not how most 6x12s are) or bad drivers...I gota 6x12 v nose so the extra foot and a half comes in handy. Cant really say i noticed a gas mpg difference when I got the v nose but conditions vary alot driving around here.

I have own three enclosed trailers. The best one i have now is the Horton Hauler, 8x20 with a four ft. v-nose. I have not had any problems turning wide or short.
