ALMOST all Stihl Kombi attachments WILL work w/ anything that has a SOLID shaft. I have a book infront of me. Look on the website. All you have to do is take off the shaft if not on a Kombi.

www.stihlusa.com

No Echo and Stihl will not work with eachother.

It sure would be nice if there was an adapter to make them compatible.

the only reason I raised the question,is because I have six attachments for an echo, and the motor went on the main machine. And I like the Stihl machine, you can get a lot bigger motor for a lot less. I don't want to buy all new attachments.
