I have a Echo that is 20 years old. Looking for something lighter in a straigt saft. What do the experts reccomend.

I would suggest you check out the Husqvarna 322L. It seems to be very light. The only comparable weight unit that comes to mind is the Robin (not sure of the model #) but the dealer admitted it was not really as heavy duty as the Huskys, Echos, etc.

if your looking at price, as well as weight go to home depot, and buy an echo weedeater. they are fairly light.

we don't bu our echo equipment there, but i think they have the 2300 model there.
it would probably serve your needs well

Thanks for the suggestions. I will check out each one. I will only be using it at home. Once every 2 weeks or so. The echo I have has given me good service but anymore, carrying it around really bothers my shoulder.
