hello and good luck with new contract. We use New Holland tractors so my vote is toward them but as always everyone has their ideal.lol...Are you getting paid by the hour...by the mile..or by the acre..Without any more infor its hard to help in somewhat to make sure you get the right equipment for the right job.As for 70hp tractor and yes go with a/c but a 6ft might not be wide enought for it. You want the mower at the least as wide as the rear tires.

I looked at a NH T-6050 and the motors looked like a cummins 6.7. The cab was nice with the shocks under it. But 70k.:hammerhead:

I'd look at renting/leasing a tractor/brush hog. If this is only one contract it's hard to justify a $70k purchase for it.
Not to mention, there's not a very high likely hood of you making money back on it for snow removal in Louisiana.

hey outdoor if you have alot of room to get around I would think about a 15ft batwing so you can get so good time.Again I'm a new holland man but I'm renting 2 M105 Kubota cab 4x4 with 2 3715 bushhog batwing. The reason NH about $85k with mower but kubota with mower about $55k. Both of these will cut up to 3 inches and will make up some time.Check on your local rental prices most are trying to get the tractors off their lots. Most rental cost will come off the cost if you buy it but check with your dealers they all kinds of plans. good luck

I don't think you have stated the number of acres and frequency of cuts for this two year contract. That information would be really helpful.
