has anyone successfully rigged a headlight setup for their mower(s)? I know i could mount one nicely, but I am concerned about running it straight off of my battery, considering it's a tiny battery.
My dad suggested a capacitor, which is a good idea, i think my buddy would give me his from his old subwoofer hook up.
ideas, stories? thanks guys

You would have to do some research and find some low watt lights. Not only is the battery going to be too small, but the alternator will most likely fail due to access voltage keeping the battery charged, that is if you plan on using aftermarket headlights or offroad lights. Most alternators/stators are usually 10-20 amp on mowers, car alternators range from 60+. You might check ebay for mower light kit, and see what you can find. Good luck

i was thinking of a headlight off of a honda cb125... i think it's a cd maybe not, it's street legal... the bike won't run it's pretty much being parted out... hmmm
But why?
I have never had to activate the lights on my mower for actual night/dusk cutting.Grass is almost always wet at that time of night anyway.

Yeah, I've got them.
I found it's mostly a waste of time and money, the rough ride constantly makes
the bulbs fail even when not lighted, then when do we really use them?
