Hi All,
My mower is blowing oil smoke after 30 to 45 mins of mowing. I was told it was because the reed valve does not have enough vacuum to keep shut which allows oil to be pushed through the breather valve into the carb hence causing the mass cloud of smoke.
Recently my mower had been acting up so I took it to my nearest dealer. They said that the compression was 100 psi on both cyl. on both sides. They told me that would be ok for now. They replaced the reed valve and crank seals to gain back the vacuum. Unfortunately it was unsuccessful. Does anyone have any ideas or have they been down this road?
Thanks for your help!!
