Just wondered how you decided on your business name or if you have ever changed it and found that you had more business after the switch. I have trouble knowing which words to choose (lawn care, landscaping, gardening, maintenance). I want to have some signs made up, I use Tapr's lawn care and property maintenance, but I find that it sounds like too much of a mouthful. I thought of doing "Tapr's lawn, garden, landscape etc" But i'm also not sure about this one either. Basically I am finding that people only know that I cut grass whereas I do a lot more, such as, gardening, fencing, garbage removal, putting in docks, odd jobs. What business name could I use or what can I do to attract other jobs besides just grass cutting. Any suggestions or experience in this area?? thanx.

You know I was in the same situation you are in. I think mostly its the quality of work that you leave the customer with, than your name. I'm sure that catchy names work in reeling in customers, but if you do crappy work, you can kiss that customer good bye. < Just my .02$ But I would like to hear more on this subject from a person with more experience.
