kawi fb460v power problems

i have an old school 36 in scag with a kawi fb460v engine on it. I am having power problems with it. The engine power goes up and down up and down. the mower still runs but bogs up and down with power

On your engine you may have to apply the choke by moving the choke rod at the control assembly on the engine;
