2", I have a hunch it has not been winterized, ever, though the lack of primer, glue, makes me wonder. I'm going to give them a manual drain and a iso valve. I hope it does not go 'sproing' when I cut that tee free. :dizzy: I will check the brand of that tee; it might have needed a thrust block or a smoother transition with 45s to make the connection. It is the low-point of the system.

:hammerhead:

Must have some serious pressure to need a thrust block, what psi do you usually need or see those on?

150 psi here; that's a dead-end main line, thrust block and proper gluing + winterizing might have helped. That's just a bad practice to throw the main into the tee.

Is that at a golf corse?

i would try to have put the flospan on one of the arms of the T. and then block the back side of the T.

Is that a bell on the right side of the tee? GL Mike. Looks like a lot of "fun". I know you won't be using a slip fix/flow span, so will be good to see what the final repair looks like.

I thought originally the main came in from the right side of the tee, wrong, it comes in from the middle. The tee in the middle goes to a 1" q.c. which gets re done, too. The tee at the top goes to two zones and terminates. The site is a County Courthouse.
No slip fix, no unions, all 90s, and 45s if it goes south when I cut it free today.

Fixed it this morning, was able to add a iso valve and re-do the q.c.

Nice double boot shot....work looks good too. Gonna support your q.c. somehow?

Gonna have to do something; prolly a couple of sticks of re-bar & hose clamps.

That's exactly how we do it. Was wondering if there was a different way.

I like to spot a q.c. in a 10" round and pour conc to the bottom and just below the q.c. In this case, I had no option other than re-bar. I like the RB two-piece since the seal can be serviced without replacing the entire assembly.
