Haven't had a drop of rain even from a t storm in about 3 weeks.Nothing.nada.
Lawns are frying.
I guess we used it all up in April and May.
Temps haven't even been that hot around here usually in the low to mid 80's (highly unusually for the mid atlantic in the middle of summer) Low humidity for the most part as well, I guess that's why we haven't had any storms.
What I would give for a 2 -3 inch soaker right now.

It came North! We had something like 25 out of 30 days in June with RAIN...
I am so psyched that it's finally stopped. The ground here is still saturated and will be through July. Maybe there'll be an August "drought" but the weather guys say the summer in general will be on the rainy side...I'm enjoying the respite from the wetness...

No complaining here at all. I don't mind working in the rain every day if need be. The rain makes plenty of green "grass and money".
I'm not going to lie though, the dry spell made me take a deep breath just long enough to feel like the hard part was over then all of a sudden cooler temps and a few days of heavy storms has me running hard again. I was starting to enjoy blowing quickly through the dry stuff without the engine straining at all. The last couple of days has felt like spring again. Yesterday and today we were in the upper 60's in the morning.

STILL nothing in the mid atlantic and temps havent cracked 85 in forever, and have had ONE day that hit 90 on the dot....
I have never seen weather like this in the middle of summer.
Called for 30-40% chance of Tstorms since sunday and not one drop so far.
I have a job that requires a lot of digging that will be about 10x as hard if we dont get some rain fast.
