I have a TC33DA tractor. Instead of running it down to my dealer, I figured I'd go ahead and do the oil change myself. I stopped by my dealership and picked up an oil filter and since I recently sold my diesel truck, I have plenty of RotellaT lying around.

But now that I've drained the oil, I see there's an oil filter on both sides of the engine. Does it have two filters? Is one a hydraulic oil filter. Both filters appear to be the same type.

Anyone have any idea on this? Thanks

This is easy. No, there are not two oil filters. There is only one oil filter directly on the engine. The other oil filter, which is different, is for the hydrostatic drive. The hydrostatic oil filter is on the side of the clutch while to oil filter is on the side of the brakes. Good Luck!

Do you have a manual?, if not than you can probably find a copy of it on NH's website. I would suggest taking a look so that you can become familiar with the setup of your tractor.

I had lost the manual but recently found it. All is well, now.
