I'm just wondering if anybody on here is using a Lesco Ride On spreader/spayer for their only means of applying fert and spray. Basically what I mean is this is all you have, no skid tank or anything like that.
If so, how does it work for you and are you happy with it for this purpose. Thanks in advance.

We own lesco ride on spreaders. I did not know they came out with one that has a spray tank on it. The only one that I still see and used to own with a spray tank for weed control, was a permagreen ride on. Anyway I like the lesco model better mainly for the reason they are about half the price of a permagreen. The other thing is that the lesco machine is easier to operate all the controls are right in front of you, forward and reverse are right at your hands with a permagreen there are at your feet.

The factory lesco hps machine is built by cub cadet. The factory S/S unit can only be purchased through them, you can however buy a retro fit spraying kit from cub cadet if you already have a spreading unit. We have 2 units, have been running them since they came out in 2004. We dont use them for all our accounts, they fit into our program for lawns 10 to 30 thousand sq. ft. and are awesome for our cemetery accounts. Im going to buy the S/S factory unit next spring. If we did all of our fertilizing & spraying with 1 machine, it would probably not be this machine. We service the big open multi acre sites with the tractor and the tiny postage stamp lawns by hand. These machines fill our needs for that range of accounts that are too big to push a spreader and too small for the tractor.
