Clover and "White weeds"

What would be the best thing to spray or throw out to kill off clover and the white flowery headed weeds (not sure what they're called) ? Would this time of year be ok to kill them? they are invading my lawn ! Please help

Clover, and it looks like your are describing daises if you are talking about another type of weed flower.

Banvel will work well on the clover and daises.

Try Ortho Chickweed and Clover Killer. Works good.

The white flowers you are seeing are probably the clover.

Ok.. I forgot to mention I have an acre of land. Should I still use the ortho or should i try something different?

Use Gordons Trimec if you can find it. Similar to Ortho--but more concentrated, mostly in gallon jugs. Use about 2 quarts per acre, but not over what the label says.
