This is a video they showed us at the FD the other day. Show the true power of one of mother natures greatest phenomenons. Note: Both of the locomotives operators were ok. Notice the tree's in the upper corner of the screen as the tornado hits them.

As a trained weather spotter, word from other spotters is that rain wrapped tornadoes are the most dangerous kinds because you CAN NOT see them.

Did your dad take the advanced training or just the basic, I only took the basic, which was only a 2 hour class, which I didn't think was enough, so I took all my weather books out and have been studying that stuff.

I think the most dangerous are nightime tornadoes. In the day, you can see rain wrapped tornadoes, because you can see the rain going around them.

Not always. Night time tornadoes you can tell where it's at from power flashes and when lightning flashes, you can see the cyclone on the ground when there are flashes, which may not be all the time.
