Hi there, headed into Cornwall for some shopping and decided to take the very back way to get there.

Wasn't long into the trip before I came upon this unfortunate scene

Checked up on a farmer that also clears their own land's process. They have got quite a bit done since the last time I was down that way. They have a very old Case 9040 excavator, a JD750 dozer with pin on rake, and a Case 440CT mini track loader. The excavator seems to be in need of some maintenance as it was left right beside the road with several of the hatches left open.

Should have this one tiled and ready to plant by next year.

Last time I was there the rake was on the dozer.

Looks like they have another excavator in the yard...maybe a replacement for the 9040?

Those old 9000 series Case excavators were notorious for breaking down.

It's alot of pictures, however, I'm not sure what the point is ... you went into Cornwall for some shopping and along the way found a tractor stuck in a field and alot of excavation equipment ... ??

I think you are reading into the title a wee bit too much...like a lot too much. I just went on a trip and took some pics. Is that ok with you?
