My 32" Metro keeps cutting out on me. There doesn't seem to be any exact time it cuts out, just randomly. Occasionally if I brake quickly, it'll pick back up. I've done a complete tune up on the mower hoping it was something small, but it continues to get worse and worse. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Drain the gas in the tank, get new fuel lines for $1 a foot at napa, a new fuel filter and clena the carb. Rebuild if needed.
Sounds like a fuel problem.

Thanks for the help. Also, if this makes any difference, it only cuts out when the blade is engaged.

Sound's like a gas issue. When the blades aren't engaged the motor is int under much of a load. When they are its using more gas and when it doesn't get enough its chokes.

At least blow out the fuel lines with a compressor. Drain all the old gas and get a new fuel filter.
Clean the carb

What Matt said...

Also check that rubber PCV tube coming off the valve cover, if that thing is
cracked or corroded it will make the engine run like crap, replace it.

Beyond that it might be a loose connection someplace, the first thing that
comes to mind is that electronic clutch...

check the safety switches, Mine was doing that same thing...the safety switch on the handles wasn't making a good connection..

Yes, it could be electric also.
All my mowers are striped of most safety switches after a while. Its just more things to go wrong.
