Well guys I am back (and I'm better than ever)!
I got some good pics from the Expo in Lansing. I would've got more but I couldn't find the memory card for the camera.
First, the Bobcat A300 and Toolcat.

And last but nowhere near least, a huge Komatsu Payloader/Tool Carrier with a High Dump Bucket :cool2: :) :usflag: :clapping:.
Also a JCB 4CXT Loader/Backhoe. I really like the Seat Mounted Backhoe Controls.

Komatsu loader looks like a WA320, am I correct? We have 2, 320's on the job I'm on right now, good little loaders.

Oh my! I like that 279.. :cool2:
and once you get some hours on that JCB you wont like it, Dads got one at work and it only has like 4 or 500 hours on it and its already falling apart. They cant use the aux. hydros for some stupid reason, the interior is literally just falling apart. And it looks like its twice its age because the paint faded so fast.

No Ron they didn't have a 1Cx. I probably would've got a picture of it. The pictures I got were what I thought the coolest machines there. They also had a Caterpillar 924H, a Deere 524K, a Case 621E, another big Komatsu Payloader, a Deere 344J, and a CAT 908. The were at this area where you could try them out, with a huge pile of dirt you could play in. My aunts Boyfriend tried the CAT 924H, he liked it.

Really? What model? I like the joysticks on the seat in that one and how instead of just the seat back tilting back or forth, the whole seat tilts, its really comfortable.
Yeah I like that 279. When I as checking out the CAT stuff I ran into Dan Chandler, the salesman up at Michigan CAT, he's a really nice guy. He had a cameo in my 246C video.

Scag, no its not a 320. I zoomed in on the picture and its a WA250PZ.
ITS A TOOLCARRIER!! I'm seriously a sucker for Toolcarriers.
Bucket only? Big deal! I like to be able to detach the bucket and use several attachments.

Yes, but Tool carriers have that Hydraulic coupler, makes things that much easier.

Ok, So I guess the ACS coupler on my old boss's 621C doesn't mean anything. I always wondered why when I pulled that small lever next to the joystick, the bucket came off.
Who knew that ONLY a tool carrier could do something as awesome as that.
And cut your hair.

I was gonna say the same thing about my Cat and Volvo loaders. Those buckets make a terrible crashing noise when they fall into the bed of the dump trucks!! ;)

I am really looking forward to demoing that Gehl AL140. Thing is about the same width as a Dingo Wide Track, but has around 1200lbs capacity. They didn't even have literature on it yet. I'm supposed to have one sometime in the next two weeks.
I say one thing about Deere payloaders, they're the tightest turning loaders I have ever had the chance to run.

You have Hitachi to thank for that!

They're also one of the few OEMs that build their compact wheel loaders in the US.
I have to say that I'm not the biggest fan of their "stereo" turning. I've seen operators get jammed into tight areas by not knowing how to reverse the steering path they used to fit into the spot in the first place.
I will 3rd the hair cut. If you my kid I would have corrected that problem about 6 inches ago.
Tool carriers typically have different front end linkages on both backhoes and wheel loaders. I think only CAT offers an IT backhoe. Most OEM's offer hyd. couplers front and back on backhoes and on the wheel loaders even if they are not dedicated IT machines.

I love it. I look A LOT better than with almost no hair. Thats one image I never I wanna see me with again!
I like to keep it long in the winter, then shorten it to the top of my ears in the summer.
I've just been procrastinating about getting it cut.
Its a free country, well maybe not for long...
Besides, chicks dig long hair :)

Not to be rude,
WHEN I SAY TOOL CARRIER I MEAN ANY MACHINE THAT CAN USE SEVERAL ATTACHMENTS!
YOU PEOPLE DO NOT READ!!
Even if it doesn't say Tool Carrier, but it can carry attachments,
then I consider it a Tool Carrier!

Whats that AL140 gonna run as far as price?
I though Gehl only had Articulated loaders in Europe, and the AWS loader over here.
I actually really like that AL140. Its what we've been looking for, a small articulating loader that (hopefully) isn't really heavy. I'm also hoping the offer a Factory Cab (Heat, AC)
As for Deere Loaders, I really like the 244J. Just a bit big for us.

Rep didn't know yet for how we wanted it set up. Apparently there's only one in Mi availible for demos at the moment. That's how new these loaders are to the US. Hopefully we'll get it for more than just a day. Did you watch the video between the AL140 and the ASV RC-30 w/ Green Tracks? That was some scary **** when that RC-30 started sliding down the hill.
What no video of the SSL obstacle course?

I went on Tuesday. I was just looking at equipment, not really paying attention to that.
I was hoping to see the Gehl 7810. They say its the mother of all skid steers made today.
Theres one main thing I wanted to see in it. You can find out what by looking at my signature.
