Grasshopper/Kubota Engine Problems

I have a new Grasshopper 725G2 with 20 hours on it and the engine spits and sputters after about 2 hours of operation. Anyone bump up against that? The dealer said its a wet distributor cap from power washing but I haven't washed it since last fall. Dealer said to put new plugs in it. Should I expect the dealer to pay for that since its new and under warranty? Maybe give them the receipt?

If moisture got into the cap it had to enter from somewhere. Probably a hairline crack in the dist cap. Since you only have 20 hrs on this machine I'd be on my dealer like flies on you know what!!! I would demand a new cap and rotor and new plugs. If he can't spring for that I'd tell him that the next time I needed a 9 - $10,000 mower I'd go somewhere else.
