trimmer. people tend to notice details like bad trimming before you notice how well a grass is striped etc...

backpack blower is an excellent multipurpose piece

besides the truck

any other stipulations??

ok then a shovel, nothing costs cheaper and makes you more money than a shovel or wheelbarrow.

My 60" Dixie. I would never, ever be able to do as many jobs as I do with only a 36" mower.

I like my truck loader. Beats raking and wheel barrows all day long. Pics up a ton of pruned clippings from hedges in a hurry and shreds it so I can fit so much more in my cab over it's mounted to.

Gosh it's hard to beat the truck, everything else pales in comparison to the a/c cab LOL

But if it boils down to the bread and butter, the piece of equipment that has
not only earned more money than anything else but also even helped pay for
pieces of equipment that never paid for themselves and what have you?

The one piece of equipment that runs the most, and I could not do without?

Would be my 48" fixed deck Toros.

What brand is yours? I need one that does everything too. Having a blower that also mows and collects from slow paying customers would be great.

My PAS-260 is mine. Great tool for a solo operator. Trimmer, edger, and brushcutter attachments are in my inventory, and more to come next year.

Truck loader definitly makes me money on saved labor costs and fewer trips to the dump. Probably not my biggest money maker but it has no doubt paid for itself many times over.
