How to go about pricing used trailers? There is no kbb.com for this so how about some advice for buying?

The best way is to price 20 used trailers and a few new ones. When you fine one that is priced about 2/3s the price of a new one and if it is with in your budget buy it. Some times you will find some one that needs quick cash and find a deal. That usually happens when your not in need of one. I got my first trailer for 300 sold it for 500. Got bigger one for 1000 used it 4 yrs sold it for 1200 got bigger one for 1800. It was 1yr old 20ft and sold new for 3200 HD with 6ft gate. I also got a good deal on a 12ft dump. Don't ever pay the asking price.

Man thats a hard one. Seems a lot of trailers are made in the south or Indiana. We get cheap prices around my area. If your looking at a simple 16ft open trailer I'd say pay no more than $1000 used. Now for a 16ft enclosed with a side door and back ramp your looking at around $2300 used. Those are the prices in my area, you guys up there seem to pay more though.
I'd look at your local Craigslist and the equipment trader to see what trailers are going for.
