Well, I are considering putting up a pole barn. Im not looking to spend $100,000.
I found a kit barn for about 16,639, it is a "two part barn, like a barn attached to a smaller barn. My mom would help me pay for it, because it will be at her house. We would probably just lay cement for the small part to start off, since that would be my workshop...

Dimensions:
30' W x 27' L x 8' H------- 810 sq ft, 6480 cu ft
40' W x 45' L x 14' H -----1800 sq ft, 25200 cu ft

Thats 2610 total sq ft, so $6.37 per sq ft. and cu ft total, $0.52 per cu ft.

It comes with:

* Two 10' x 13' steel sliding doors
* One 10' x 8' Kwik Frame slider
* Two dutch doors
* One pre-hung steel service door
* Two 48" x 48" sliding windows
* Two 24" cupolas
* Four 11' Pro-Sky® skylites
* 12" Overhang on all four sides with steel soffit and Prairie wheat
wall with charcoal gray wainscot roof and trim steel.

and directions....

Any one have experience with Midwest Manufacturing?

Thats a nice building if you can come up with $17,000 + the extra 2600 square feet of 4" slab-on-grade. Sure would be a fancy setup, I'm jealous!! Good Luck

Yea, but i have been looking at some other ones... For $11,329, its 20x15x10, but our camper is like 12 ft tall... but that is 2160 sq ft, ($5.41 per sq ft.) and 21,600 cu ft, ($.52 per cu ft.)

Dont forget electricity costs. That price is for just the building materials.

I would not bother measuring in Cubic feet.....you are not gonna fill it up to the tippy top!

Yea, but it will be at my mothers house... She will pay the electric, since i would pay for most of it... Also, i would probably park her convertible in there... (its in her garage now, but she dosent use it anymore...

You make a good point, but i want to get the most bang for my buck... And i would eventually add a loft in at some time...

I just dug up some pics of the car... Its a 1993 Cutlass Supreme Classic, its the last or second to last year they made these... Its very rare, its all original, and in mint condition, no rust, just dust... :laugh::laugh::laugh:

And in the one pic, you will see a red Boneville, and a 88 Classic (i got those from my sisters, and we used to take them out in the feilds, and off roading, thats why they look like crap) But we got tired of them sitting in the drive way, so we scraped them...

I dont mean paying the bill. You have to get the wires ran, lights up, and get the building capable of having electricity

You get one chance to do it right--recommend bigger. Make sure the camper fits, as well as your other toys and moms car. You will grow into it if it is too big at the beginning. I am an old guy and know this from experience. You will never throw anything away and your barn will seem to grow smaller as you "collect" stuff. Have fun.
