What is the average age of the guys that own their own LCO on this site? How old were you when you started? 36 here and started 2 years ago.

10 years old is when I started service (my dad came home with a weed eater for my birthday). Now it has been 27+ years of lawn care for me.

I am almost 14, if you belive it or not I started when I was 8 wuth a 2 21s( one was a gift the other one was my dads, as well as a old ass echo hand held blower and a battery string trimmer. People were amazed with my work and that I could handle using the old equipment. Now I have 10 accounts and all professional equipment

Almost the same as you, started around/before 10, but now only 14. I mowed my yard 1 or 2 times with a 21", and my neighbor came over and asked me to do his.

i offered to mow my neighbors when the other kid doing it moved away. a guy down the street then asked me to do his. after that word of mouth helped me land a few more accounts

Soon to be 38yrs old. Started 12 years ago for 2 seasons then gave it up to get a what i thought was a respectible job. Then got tossed to the side with the bad economy. Started back up in March.
