Wishing for snow................

I keep trying not to ask "why me". I forgot to blow the dust out of the rain gauge and we had just enough stuff fall from the sky to make the dust stick to the glass and I had to clean it :( All kinds of stuff all around us and not a drop here last night, BUT my radio base station for the central control locked up through the night and water didn't happen!! I don't KNOW that it was anything more than faulty equipment. The service warranty would be void if it was an "act of God", so I'm pretty sure it is a faulty part, but WTF? Stuff like this happens, your supposed to get a few drops of rain anyway.
