have an industrial site with very little open grass.
Total of 3/4 of an acre all along fence lines.

Lots of weed wacking and edging. HOw do I calculate edging time. Does anybody have a formula. Not an hourly wage, I want to know a formula to estimate how much time it takes to push mow 3/4 of an acre and to weed wack X feet of fence line.

Measure of 100 feet or so and time yourself. Divide by 100 and ther you go.

One way you could do the estimate is to measure how many linear feet you can weed eat alone the fence line in on minute. Measure the total linear feet on the fence line and divide by the total linear feet you did in one minute. This will give the total minutes it will take you to weed eat the entire fence. To find out how long it will take you to push mow 3/4 of an acre measure how many square feet you can push mow in 1 minute. One acre equals 43,560 square feet; therefore 3/4 of this is 32,670 square feet. Divide 32,670 by the number on square feet it took you to push mow in one minute. This will yield you the number of minutes it will take you to do the 3/4 acres. Hope this will help you.
