G3 -- Optional Seat Suspension System

According to a data sheet from Toro, there is an optional "seat suspension system" available for all G3 models. The name of the option makes it sound like a under-seat suspension like my Deluxe seat had on my former Z589.

Is this "seat suspension system" a kit upgrade to the OEM seat that came with my G3 or is it an entirely different seat meaning that I discard my current seat?

The "suspension seat kit" does not work in conjunction with the bolstered seat shipped on your G3. Installing the kit would require purchasing the suspension kit and another seat and disregarding your G3 seat.
