Im setting up work for the winter. Paver patios walk ways. I also just set up a landscape lighting job with a customer that has me doing a lot this winter with the summer kitchen. so i just keep looking for more work to set up for winter time. I also plan to offer a winter rye seeding so i can make some monney off that and then have some grass to cut as well. I hope that helps a little bit

Do the strategic work on your company to make it operate smoother in season. It wont pay you in the winter but it will increase your income.

I am going to advertise for flowerbed cleanup. I plan to start in November by sending a letter to my current customers and give them an offer to divide the total by 2 or 3 monthly payments. In my advertisment I am going to try things like flowerbed renovation before they have family over for the holidays. That should work for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Smart man! I may advertise that with my Fall cleanup flyers! That is easy to do when it is not hot as hell!

I have been doing firewood for years and its actually year round to the restaurants I do but in the winter it is nuts because I am about the only one around here that does not run out of firewood because just about every tree service around here brings me logs year round. I actually have a lot more money in firewood and make a lot more money off firewood then I do the landscape business.

I'm not trying to piggy back, but thats also something else I've thought of. I'm trying to keep my options open and pick the best one. I'm trying to pay cash for a ZTR this coming up year.

I love it I just got a new cord king processor a couple months ago. Use to have two timberwolf processors but sold one for down payment on the cord king.

What do you do? Just buy the logs off the tree services and sell them for profits?
